The snow on Christmas Day was gone the following day and it's been dark ever since so 2 new pictures and a reprocessed old one today. We should see some sunshine and snow next week though.
This is a new one.
Might have been more sleet than snow but that sounds much less dramatic.
The ground was white with snow when I got up and more fell during the morning but then it started raining and now it's nearly all gone.
Had a great trip to the south of Sweden. Saw lots of great birds and got some good pictures too. I've spent much of the day processing the first of them.
From having a little snow a couple of days ago we now have a lot of snow. I've had some fun photographing birds in falling snow. Most of the shots got binned but I got a few atmospheric keepers. At the moment it's not snowing and is quite sunny.
We had a great trip to Turkey though there wasn't a lot of time to photograph birds. Did my best though. Saw a lot of familiar species and a few less familiar ones. And some I'd never seen before.
I'll try to post some during the week. Thanks for all you best wishes for the trip!
I keep the feeders filled with seeds all day long as last night the temperature dropped to -33.3 C Regardless how strong they are all the Great Tits can find a place at the feeders. Sparrows and Nuthatches get their shares too.
Had a great time at the conference in Hamar. Met lots of old acquaintances and made some new ones. Not much in the way of birds bit I took a series of the scruffiest Hooded Crow I've ever seen.
