Came across 6 Grey Plovers at Hayle, managed to get near enough for this shot. Before this the only one I'd captured was at Mousehole, and I couldn't get near enough without him hopping to ever distant rocks.

Saw a few of these on the beaches of Norfolk, though only a couple had this wonderful summer plumage.
Had to wade through slimey mud (wet feet!) to get the shots, but was well worth it.
