    Second in today's three of a kind theme of the grey plover (the artist formerly known as a knot!) I like the pose and reflection on this shot. Nice light too.

    I spotted This Grey Plover while watching a flock of Golden Plover the black patches under the wing were very visible they landed close by allowing me to get this shot.

    This (juvenile?)Grey Plover was feeding alone along a mud/shingle margin. Typically they are found singly or in small groups.The hunched posture & heavy beak show up from a fair distance away whilst the easily seen black axillaries in flight are diagnostic.
