An immature male I think, there were quite a few hanging around on the fringes of the colony, not yet tough enough to compete with the real big guys

The Horsey Seal colony has produced 41 new pups so far this year

Went to Norfolk in July to celebrate Mick's 60th. On the BIG day which was an absolutely perfect day, sun shining what more could we ask. We took the obligatory boat trip to see the seals and they didn't disapoint

Several times during my short visit to Donna Nook, I saw a parent pat the seal pup on its back. I wonder whether it was to give some reassurance or to encourage the pup to come and feed or for no special reason whatsoever.

Two weeks ago Kim and I went to Donna Nook in Lincolnshire to see the seal colony. It was my first visit to that place and I think it was well worth the long drive there and back.I had never seen seal pups yet .The way they lie down really flat on the sand reminds me of Labrador puppies.The pup...
