grey wagtail motacilla cinerea

I don't know why Grey wagtails are so suspicious of me. I lucked out the first time I visited this place but the second time I managed to hide behind a wall with just the lens poking out.

A short visit to my local park presented me with a group of 3 individual Grey Wagtails, calling and flitting between pond side vegetation.. The 3 images I am posting represent what I believe to be an adult male and female. Unsure of the sex of the third bird but would presume a male, I'm not...

Just liked the effect of the background water with the blue sky reflecting

Grey Wagtails are not often seen around here, I am pleased I got a decent shot of this one.

Even if the muddy background is not the most beautiful I decided to take the photo.

Although the bird itself was in shade the colour in the water is a reflection of the dead grasses in sunlight beyond the water
