I had a lovely day strolling around the park in the sunshine yesterday, what a refreshing change to all the dull, dark, wet weather that we've had recently, and thats back again today. Not as many birds about as I had thought, but still enough to enjoy. I was walking along with me...
A bird I've often overlooked in favour of dippers, as they're frequently seen in the same habitat. Won't be doing that anymore - they're beautiful, elegant and so vibrant.
From the Reservoirs yesterday morning; only decent pics I got was of a Grey Heron and this fella (they wasn't together|=)|). A bit of a crop, but I like the pose.

Trying to figure out a way to mount a flash above the blind.... So far its not working.
Spent the morning on a stream waiting for a Dipper to appear....no show, but enjoyed watching a grey wagtail and a young one feeding by the waters edge.
Well my BF friends, Its post and run for me this morning. Today we are off to Heathrow Airport, flying into Philadelphia, later tonight. We will be staying in Reading, Pennsylvania with my daughter and two granddaughters, the youngest I havent met yet. We will be there until mid May, then moving...
