Grey Wagtail

While I was struggling to look for the Dippers yesterday, I saw a blur fly to the far bank, but it promptly disappeared. I just knew it was a Grey Wagtail, so was on high alert. Eventually I found it (or another) in the rocks below. They're fast aren't they! This is a first for my Gallery...

Ken phoned me today to say he has no internet connection etc,and he is only contactable by mobile phoe,so,I said I would pass on the message. Grey Wagtail taken in the river in Oct,he blends in with the pebbles.

I've not done any photography for over two months! Rather busy with home improvements - groan! That said, our garden has been extremely quiet since the summer and even now with the onset of winter it's nowhere near as busy as it usually is at this time of year. One fairly regular visitor...
