Managed an hour at the Reservoirs this morning, not great light, but I got a few hundred pics. I think this is the first Grey Wagtail that I've caught in a tree. A heavy crop, but it's something a bit different I guess. Back later when I've sorted the other pics.

From the Windy Reservoirs yesterday. Although this is quite a heavy crop (80% I think), I actually got a bit closer to these than I usually do. The trouble was I couldn't hold the camera still against the wind, so this pic looks a heavier crop than it was.

Quite a heavy crop, but seeing as I can't get close to these birds, it will always be a heavy crop. From the Reservoirs a few weeks ago. I went this morning for an hour, no pics as it was terrible light. I did see one of the Kestrels and a few Fieldfares (plus a number of the usual suspects)...

    Free at last.

Not been able to get out and about for the last few weeks due to working , so today was my first time to get back ,and just chill out there with nature again. And did i need it , look forward to catching up with you all again.

Heavy crop, and I was fighting the wind, so not as sharp as I'd like; but I like the setting and colours. Yes, for a change, I actually know why I like a picture.|=)| Still a few hundred pics to sort through, and most are good enough to keep; a bit of Sun makes all the difference. Camera...

    Grey Wagtail

Another visitor to the harbour pool yesterday.i never seem happy with shots of this species, always seem too dark(noisy),or too washed out, plus the fact they are constantly on the move ,so very rarely sharp. This little chap is a regular visitor during the winter mths.

Not a lot going on here, wet outside, so just getting ready for our next lot of visitors coming tomorrow. One of the Grey Wags that breed in the local park.

Grey Wagtail (from the garden yesterday)

This is the only other picture that I got of my surprise visitor yesterday. It only stayed for seconds, and I doubt it'll return, but you never know. I must say it looked a bit lost wagging it's tail amongst the 60+ Pigeons. Although, if it wasn't for the wagging tail, I probably wouldn't have...

    A garden first!

I think someone must have felt sorry for me, as I don't feel great today, because this turned up in the garden 10 minutes ago. I can't get close to these at the Reservoirs, but this was only 6 feet from the window. I only got a couple of shots before it flew off, and even though the light was...
