A gray bird that sometimes sounds like a cat. ;) I'm not 100% sure, but this one feels like a juvie coming into adult plumage.

    Grey Seal

This was the first Seal we saw when we moved to Norfolk, on the day we arrived. A lovely welcome.

Grey/Red Phalarope. A lifer bird and fascinating to watch as they spin in circles.

    What bird? (Townsville, Australia)

I see this bird on it’s own often in my yard, but I can’t find it on any of my bird apps. It’s rather chatty at times. Does anyone have any idea?

    Grey Jungle Fowl Pair

Interesting info: Grey jungle fowl have been bred domestically in England since 1862 and their feathers have been commercially supplied from domestic UK stocks for Fly Tying since 1978 : Wiki Wonder what is so special about those feathers..

There are six chicks. But these days the black sheep of the family prefers to forage a little away from the siblings. I could not get him/her in the frame.
  12. Grey Fantail

It can be frustrating trying to get a photo of these active little birds.

    Black-shouldered Kite

This chap looked distinctly unimpressed with us stopping to watch him, so we took a snap and took the hint and left !

    Black-headed Heron

This wonderful Heron wasn't at all bothered by us so we were able to sit with him for a long time
  20. African Grey Hornbill

    African Grey Hornbill

We are used to seeing the Yellow-billed Hornbill in the Northern Cape, but I hadn't seen an African Grey Hornbill until we were in Namibia, where they were a common sight

    Grey Wagtail

This lovely little bird visited my garden yesterday. A female Grey Wagtail. This maybe the first time I have actually seen one of these lovely little birds. Apologies for the poor quality shot but this was caught by accident, spotted it looking out my window around my pond.
