My guide pushed the boat along a narrow channel through the reeds which finally led us to a lake full of birds. Unfortunately the Greylag Gooses spotted us immediately and flew away. All I could do were several in flight shots.
Had a busy week and it'll be a busy weekend too so I'm restricted to photography from the flat windows. Lots of Hawfinches, Jays, Woodpeckers, Red Squirrels etc on the feeders though and it's mild and sunny.
I do not know why but the mother goose wanted to cross the channel in front of the boat. We slowed down so mother and chicks safely reached the oposit side of the channel.
