Not the best of shots but I think it is quite interesting. It was taken seconds before these Greylag Geese landed in the water at Strumpshaw Fen. I find it impossible to believe that that look means anything other than "Is this all right? Shall we land here?" Ron

I see these so often at the Reservoirs, and they've almost always got orange-coloured legs and feet. So when I saw this one yesterday, I thought it was a Pink-footed Goose. I even put it in the ID section to check. However, I now know that pink is normal for Greylag, and the orange-legged ones...
