greylag goose

This morningon a walk, I took pictures of a Jay, a Red Kite and this Goose.Since there are a few Jays and Kites on the site already, I choose the picture of the Goose to show. There's a small group living here all year round:descendants of some Geese that were set free from captivity.

Not sure how I did it, but I missed showing you this little gaggle of Greylags that were by (and in) the bog bean island near the Gullery hide.

A few minutes after the last shot, these Greylag flew in. I couldn't decide on how much to crop, so didn't - I rather like the atmosphere with all the birds around. I should have shown you this one first Ove, the background would have made more sense to you eh? ;) Happy for critiques guys.

Best of around 30 pictures taken of Greyags in flight. A steady hand is very much a requirement. (should I put more water in it ??!!!)
