    Again one of the raptors seen this day. I hesitate to ID unfamiliar hawks but this ones seems to match my guide photos.

    These were sharing a perch in the same tree on the rivers edge.I believe it's a Red Tailed hawk but it was lacking the signature red tail but I know that this hawk has widely varying plumage.

    A visit to Marwell Zoo, We always keep our eyes open for the native wildlife here, This Sparrow Hawk passed us close by took a House Sparrow from the arm rail fence flew over the tiger fence and then hung around for a short while and left as quickly as it arrived.

    I was shooting Hummingbirds, as usual and this appeared on the Bluebird House. Sure glad the Bluebirds decided not to try for the 3rd brood this year.

    This bird has been in our tree each morning and I was wondering if anyone knew specifically what it was? I thought a hawk of some kind.

    This hawk was being mobbed by about 12-18 crows very agressively. I could just make out that the hawk had a smaller bird in it's talons so I think that was the root cause of this mob.

    Captured this Coopers just after it landed on the trail and then flew into the trees. It has a rodent of some kind clutched in his talons along with the grass. I had to adjust the colour as I had not changed my camera from landscape mode.DOH!
