    After my last photo of the Harrier I lost sight of him behind the tree, all I could see was the occasional wing tip. I stayed focused waiting for it to break cover so that I could get another shot, that is when, to my amazement it landed in my tree. Unbelievable, I could not have wished for much...

    I have waited years to capture a decent photo of this Harrier who is a regular visitor to the meadow at the rear of my house. Today was my day, flying up and down the meadow he finally came close enough for a decent flight shot, what happened next was so exciting for me I think i held my breath...

    I finally managed to get the photo I have wanted for a long time. I have spent many hours through summer and very cold winters trying to get a decent close up of this regular visitor to the fields near my home. Today I managed four photos before being seen but I am very happy with the results...

    Another early morning trip to my now favorite birding spot. The Gironde Estuary. The huge number of different birds to see in one day is amazing. I waited some time for this, I think, Hen Harrier to come closer. Perhaps closer still next time but still pleased with this shot of many taken.
