A couple of these lovely birds were regular on the large grassy area outside where I was staying and seemed fairly used to people being around making it much easier to get a few pics.

This Hoopoe was picking up grubs from the ground, only 12 feet away.

This fella was grazing on a golf course, near Phaphos in Cyprus.

This splendid fellow was one of the several Hoopoe observed at Aphrodite Hills Golf Course,Cyprus.

Found both these Hoopoe files when having a clean up of photos, better late than never.

Hoopoe feeding on top end of beach in the grass edge getting snails/worms and all sorts of bugs. Came really close to all the photographers, did not seem bothered by them.
