    Pretty House Finch take 2

This is the second post of this house finch today. I liked this other setting and decided to share. I used Nikon NX Studio to sharpen the finch and reduce the brightness of the foliage about one stop.

    Pretty House Finch

Almost none of the finches this fall have the deep red coloring. But I like the color variations. I used Nikon NX Studio to sharpen the finch and reduce the brightness of the foliage about one stop.

    House Finch

This female House Finch was sitting on a chair, singing. I didn't even realize that I captured it with it's mouth open until after I put the SD card into my computer and was about to print them out.

Checking me out between the overhead wires...

House finch that seems at least as curious about me as I am about him.
  17. Confrontation

    Confrontation

House Finch was trying to poke its head in the nest box containing Chickadees and the parent was not letting it happen. The next day the parent sent the fledglings out so I guess it was trying to get them out on their own to grow up quicker :)

Little lady House Finch. Posting some older photos because I have been out of processing so long I will have to take the Lightroom tutorials again. It is amazing how quick being out of your routine you can loose it. Typing is the same way, took about 10 minutes for this short post.
