The house sparrows nest in the short drain pipes that stick horizontally out from balconies.
They often perch on, and explore inside one of my pipes, but there is usually one of my cats' faces smiling back at the other end!

Now for something new. This (Leucistic) Sparrow was pointed out to me by another forum member on a short visit a few weeks ago. Thank's Mick. It is now a regular visitor to the feeder. Wonderful colour hope there are more next year. Comments on this one please.
As soon as I saw this tree stump, which had been burnt and was now black with charcoal, I immediately thought of what a good photo it would make with the right bird and setting. What better than a simple sparrow in the early morning sunlight with dapple shading from a tree. Perfect.
