humming bird

Hello All- I had 3-4 regular hummingbird visitors to my feeders last summer. So, I filled Ed and hung my nectar feeders last weekend. Is this to early? Also, any tips and tricks to attract hummers this spring?

A bunch of these were busy catching bugs in the morning. I like the bright red feather on her chest.

During the hottest time of the summer we had lots of RUBY-THROATED HUMMINGBIRDs. This is my best picture of one perched on a tree limb this year.

Not sure what kind of hummer this is. Anybody?

Haven't posted a Humming bird for a while. As I recall this is one of my later photos. I had spent a considerable amount of time trying to get a good picture of a Humming bird perched.

I am not good with the hummers and looking thru my books can not be sure of the species. Appreciate any help, thanks.

My wife so enjoys sitting in the back yard with the humming birds zipping everywhere. I can assure everyone that this photo is real. Our yard is visited by over 30 humming birds a day.

This hummer is actually one of the seven that visit my friend's backyard today. My friend lives near Burnaby Mountain. There are feeders in his backyard as well as in his neighbours' gardens, but the birds seems to like the floweres more.

Taken while experimenting with different flash and shutter speed combinations this year.
