Crab fishing

Down the hatch!
... after a very brief struggle the enormous mullet disappeared down the cormorant's throat -- altering the shape of the whole bird. It couldn't raise its body out of the water afterwards... just swam around with its distended neck above water. Pass the Rennie!- WriterCJ

Has this cormorant overestimated his ability?
This cormorant was tackling a grey mullet that looked bigger than the bird was in Rosscarbery, Co. Cork last weekend. I was running a Discover Wildlife guided walk... and none of the participants believed me when I told them the cormorant would attempt to swallow the mullet whole. ... check...- WriterCJ
