    This young Jay was happily enjoying the cherry until, just out of shot to the right, lands my resident Sparrow Hawk. All ends well with the Jay leaving with the cherry and the hawk looking for something more on his menu.

    The amount of nuts these Jays consume is unbelievable, I know that they swallow acorns but they are taking huge supplies of walnuts. The cost of a photo is getting higher.

    This grand wing display the Jay is showing is due to another Jay coming in from above but just out of shot.
