This photo was taken at a pond on the north end of Big Talbot Island State Park known locally as "Spoonbill Pond". There were a pair of Belted Kingfishers flying the area and cackling. Beautiful birds. This is my first half descent shot I've been able to get.
2 hours of sitting in the drizzle produced the target, my first Kingfisher as a photo, though I have seen hundreds over 60 years of fishing!
Well pleased indeed, a chuffed Ken!!
The quality is definitely inferior quality as the others that I have proposed, however, has great actual value to me!
After 5 hours of waiting I was able to photograph my first kingfisher!
Manual focus!
