Another left over from my trip last august to Alaska. This was also found near Fossil Bay, on Kodiak Island.

I was able to sneak up on this beautiful Red Fox by sneaking up thru the dry stream bed. This was August, so he was not quite in his bright red coat yet!
While completely uncommon, we do not see a lot of Belted Kingfishers down this far on the Baja. He was bouncing from the bow of our sailboat, and then up to the lamppost!
