Hey guys,
I photographed this gull in January (2021) at the beach of the Wassenaarse Slag in the Netherlands. I believe it is a juvenile Larus gull, however I am having a hard time figuring out which species it belongs to. My current best guess is Larus argentatus, but if you tell me it's a L...
From 2015. I assume this is the most common race found in Britain, argenteus, mainly on balance of probability. If anyone thinks otherwise, please say so!
Thank you for your kind comments on my pictures, and good birding!

Some cooperative gulls; this seems to be a favorite hangout for them and are quite tolerant as long as you don't get too close.

There were also Armenian and Pallas's Gulls around.
Whilst photographing Black Headed Gulls on a semi frozen lake, i realised that this wasnt one?
Help from the ID page and its a Med Gull, one of my first so really pleased to get a nice flight shot in the bag.
I'm just starting to study gulls at my local patch North Salmon Creek. I was amazed to find they actually pull off the mussel and swallow it shell and all, and other hard crustaceans too. I am also just starting to paint with gouache and find I really love it, I switched over for field work from...
