Not a great picture this one either, but at least the bird in it is identifiable for the viewer. This one was circling up a warm air "elevator" fairly close to us. I just wasn't fast enough with the manual focus and the light correction for shooting up towards the sky. Still - you can...
This Lesser Spotted Eagle was sighted near the road circling, mid morning around 9pm. The bird soared around for a couple of minutes, allowing me to get some shots.
It is noticeable from this photo that the bird has a white edge to the underwing coverts, and is therefore probably 2-3 years old.

The 6th sighting of a Lesser Spotted Eagle in the Netherlands. The last twitchable bird was in 1984!
The bird came out of the sea and spent one evening and morning in the south-west part of the country.
A Lesser Spotted Eagle...I think! Any other suggestions gratefully received! I only managed 2 photographs before the bird flew. It flew below me, and the general impression was of a dark upper wing and dark tail with no banding.
