Last weekend we were on Landsort in the archipelago with 26 other members of Biofoto. Glorious weather and not too warm. We saw lots of birds including some brightly-coloured male Common Rosefinches. No decent pictures of those unfortunately but I took an awful lot of pictures of Arctic Terns...

It's the national day in Sweden today and I'm off work tomorrow so we're traveling to Tkern a famous lake for birds a couple of hours from Stockholm. Hope to finally see Bearded Tits. Back on Saturday evening. I'm taking my laptop...
Nearly every day I saw these birds in the same tree, in the garden, hunting insects at the top of the perches. Every time I tried to get closer the birds went to the lower end of the perches hiden by leafs.
It took me about one month to find a place not to frighten them and to be close enough...
It took me a couple of days to find out birds were fallowing the same route. Landing in the hedge, jumping in the bush and then in the tree nearby. I only had to point the camera to the right perch and wait. This is one of the photos I made.
