Just outside Arbroath on the Angus coast is the Hatton Water Works, which often has some nice birds around.

A number of Linnet's where coming in for a drink, at a water hole by the side of the road & close to the saltmarsh at my local patch.

Mid-morning on a cliff covered with thick gorse-bushes. There were lots of birds flying in and out.It was not easy to see them because the bushes were so high in places. This was taken through an opening in a bush.
A number of these in the morning sun, calling, feeding and generally hanging around there nest sites, as you can see this one has a fence protecting his domain......
