While on my way back from my daughters this afternoon, I passed the Sycamore tree, which is home to a Little Owl pair. I stopped the car & wondered if one of them was perched, luckily for me this one was. ROD.
Took in a visit to see the local Little Owls, this one posed nicely for me. I just love taking shots of these delightful Owls, which are from my car.
Looking forward to meeting up with some of our Gallery members in mid-wales tomorrow.

I can't quite make these little fluffballs into the same stars as those shot by Andy Rouse in yesterday's Daily Mail (which were wonderful) but I can give them an airing on here.

We'd packed our gear away for the sailing back, but I kept out my camera and smaller "walk-about" lens, and was chuffed to see this glaring at me from the stone wall near the accommodation.

I have been visiting this site once a week & the Little Owl is always perched at the back of the tree, so a good shot is always hampered by foreground branches, I'll get the little so & so out in the open one of these day's.
