Took in a short visit yesterday evening to a known tree where there's a Little Owl pair, this one stayed perched high in the old willow tree, sadly stayed for only a few seconds before flying to the back of the tree.

Managed to get a decent shot of a Little Owl, although it perched at the back of the tree & slightly hidden by a near branch, it's not to bad. Hope to get some far better images in the coming weeks.

This is Little Grump's partner. The two have been out fairly often in their tree, though they keep their distance. Hoping that they produce some even littler owls for me to photo later in the year.
a little owl, i was on the look out for some buzzards
flying overhead when i turned around and there on
the branch of a tree, was the little owl. it is not a brilliant shot, as it was perched in the shade, i have pushed the contrast to the limit,

After being informed on the whereabouts of a resident little owl near Dungeness RSPB, I'd spent a fruitless amount of time attempting to locate it. Until a few weeks ago, when after dipping on the cattle egret, great white heron and glossy ibis on the reserve, i thought I'd try once more to see...
A closer view of the charming if somewhat grumpy little owl that lives not far from me. He was sat on the road-side of tree, and with it being so quiet, I managed to park momentarily on the closer side of the road to get a better shot.
