The fatter of the two resident Little Owls, though at a greater distance than the photograph of the other.

    Little Owl

The regularly-visiting Little Owl, on my garden fence. There are a pair of owls, one much fatter than the other. This is the thinner owl.

    Little Owl

Thought it was about time I visited the Little Owls near my home, this one posed well for me. Had to clone out a couple of small branches, which where very distracting.

Both were out on Sat morning in the bright sunshine. Great to see, even if they don't look pleased to see me too.

With no SEO's showing up lately at my local patch, it was back to the Little Owl pair, that live near my home, with the leaves now gone from the Sycamore tree, they are more secretive. I have had a lot of internet/laptop problems recently, now things appear ok, so I hope to catch up later.

Took in a morning visit to see the little owl's, a resident pair live near my home, this one flew off onto it's usual post some distance away, so this image is heavily cropped. Catch up later my friends.
  18. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!

    HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!

No, I don't "celebrate" (I've no desire to zombify myself or beg strangers for sweets, and carving a pumpkin is only marginally more palatable to eating one!) but I thought this image was suitably spooky! What was more disturbing however was that I was almost arrested for taking this...

    Little Owl

A local birder put me on to this site near my local reservoir, so I popped down to have a look and right where he said, this guy was just sat looking about. 20ft from the side of the road and oblivious to me.
