Happily sitting on a rock without a care that 4 photographers were shooting it, only stopped cause I had to move the car

Not a great shot given the weather today but a first for me.

Good to see the Little Owls again on one of my local patch's, this one had it's beady eyes on me. Catch up later, off out this morning.

This Little Owl allowed us to get reasonably close so was busy watching Tony and I took my shots, seemed fixated with the Canon equipment lol

Went looking for Little Owls with Tony today and found a couple, one perched in a nice hole out of the wind and the other in a tree hollow that allowed him to watch over us in safety, this one hand held trying to lean out of my car window, deleted most.......

An opportunistic picture was taken whilst driving to a lake near the Bulgaria/Greece border having spotted this lovely bird in typical location.

Usually seen on the same ruined building every year, this year was no exception.

This Little owl was taken today on Baildon Moor, poor thing must be hungry so I was so glad to see it. Canon 7D Lens 100-400

Nearly always see one each year enjoying the sun on this ruined building and it always makes my day to get a pic or two of it.

Had an oppurtunity to visit this bird a few months back, a great day out probably one of the best pics i have taken with my new Digiscoping rig, just entered it in the Swaro DOY competition

I always check out barns on my walks and on this occasion was well rewarded but as you can see I was on completely the wrong side of him so I've done my best in correcting the exposure. Naturally when I walked round to the outside of the barn where the sun was shining he'd vanished. Still very...

Peering out of a gap in the bark, to glare albeit with one eye only, at me.

On a recent trip near Casares this sweet Little Owl appeared each evening on the rooftops of the villa complex. I was very fortunate that it decided to rest on a nearby rooftop allowing time to set up the scope and camera.

Last autumn I found and posted a photo of a little owl which hangs out around the farm on Dengemarsh road, site of the successful Dungeness purple herons. Many checks over spring and summer failed to locate it but 3 weeks ago, I was pleased to see it's returned, making the most of some sun...
