Thank you all for your concerned comments on the loss of my camera. Hope it won't be to long!! On a day like today which is absolutely beautiful it feels strange not rushing down to the wood. Must go tomoz just to spread some food, see what I can capture on my phone Camera LOL.

I took this picture of a Long tailed tit today. It was a bit bedraggled. I was surprised when I later looked at the photograph on the computer to see the head blur which must have been caused by the bird trying to shake off excess water, similar to the action of a dog. I have never noticed this...
