    Three flight shots today. All taken at the same spot, cruising over some open pampas wetlands. Bridge cameras aren't the best at flight shots, but these three turned out ok, and two of them were my only shots of two of my 80+ lifers that trip. This one's the best one, even if its Latin name does...

    There are two morphs. The pale morph in flight shows almost white underparts as can be seen in the bottom photo, and a white rump. The dark morph, above, is dark below with no obvious white rump.
