This picture was taken in Amazonas, Brazil, where four Blue-and-Yellow Macaws were flying in formation over the forest, reeeeeaaaally far away! That's why it wasn't a closer shot.

Never ruffle your feathers like these four! These were found on an Aai tree in the middle of the Amazon.

Three types of macaws at Collpa Chuncha in southeast Peru

This beautiful bird stopped for a bite on the grounds of the Cerro Lodge just long enough for me to capture this photo. We saw many flying overhead in pairs or groups of 4-12- - - it was so mesmerizing that it was hard to think to take a picture!
