It caught a mole cricket, and dropped it a couple of times before eventually swallowing it.

not many little ones around as much still here but some fly in then fly off just as quick.magpies,crows and jackdaws still here the rooks are on the park and roads outside.

this magpie flew in.not many little birds about my garden just now,apart from ones that nest or are hungry,i wonder why.still getting the bigger ones though like these.

Aside from the greenfinches, I didn't see all that much special on that walk to the river. Got a nice pose from this magpie, but in backlit shade that I wasn't quick enough to correct for. Loads of crows settling in for the night in the trees along the riverwalk. The usual hundred or so...

This Magpie was looking around and into the window of a neighbours house like a Peeping Tom.
