I live near the town-centre in an enclosed private property with about two hundred flats and lots of old trees, bushes , grassy plots and flower-beds. The place has been taken over by magpies and wandering cats have to be very wary. I can see one of their nests in a tree outside my living-room...
One of the reasons I bought a new camera was I wanted a faster AF and response time. I was missing too many action and flight opportunities, and stopped blaming myself and blamed the camera instead ;)
This is my first attempt using the 5.5fps continuous AF of the new camera for a smallish bird...
This crazy young Magpie decided to dance back and forth in front of me at the reservoirs on Saturday. I should've taken the TCON17 off, but I never had time.
