This feisty cardinal hangs on my car while I am at work, so I brought my camera to capture him on my mirror. He constantly pecks at himself thinking it's another bird! So much fun to watch!
This male cardinal was singing his heart out last Spring. He was quite vocal. I grabbed my camera that was inside my house and he let me take his portrait.
There is a thicket next to the dock on the dry land portion. This male cardinal left before I could get a really perfectly focused shot but the lighting and color are true.
It was raining lightly when I took this shot. You can see some of the raindrops as the crossed the camera's lens, and you can see water droplets on the bird.
This very young adult male cardinal was at the bird feeder after I filled it up. I hope he blossoms into a gorgous mature fellow. Looks like he is still getting his adult plumage
