Geese migrating on a cloudy day
A small flock of Canada geese migrating towards the South is a common sight here in southern Oregon. This particular group was flying alongside some lovely low-hanging clouds - and the resulting photograph made me think of a painting.- MiguelATF

Canada geese on the move
Spring weather has been here in northern British Columbia, on and off, for about 2-3 weeks now, although the big lake (Charlie L.) is still covered with thick ice. Small sloughs and ditches are starting to open up though and all the snow except parking lot piles is gone. I saw the first flight... -

Yesterday our family was at Chester Zoo and we spotted 5 or 6 large groups of birds (up to 100 or even more) that looked like a type of seagull flying north in v-shape formations.
