An almost full moon and a bit different from the usual bird photos but the lockdown has restricted the kind of photography I can do. Hope you like it.

I was fascinated by the moon ... it is a different shape when not full. Over in the UK it forms sideways crescents, but in Australia it was the bottom half that was missing. That had never occurred to me before, although I knew the stars would be different.

As I walked through an agriculture field a couple of evenings ago, found this Black-winged Kite perched very high up on a HT cable with 13th day moon in the back ground. A bit of position adjustment resulted in this shot. Hope you like it.

Unsure if the Moon surface is classed as a landscape. But thought I,d share anyway. The major feature here is the Apennines mountain range that is 3.1 miles high at the peaks..For this image I used a EOS1100D prime focus through a Tal 100mm refractor. This made it in effect a 1000 f10...

I know that this is a stretch for "Landscapes" but I had to post this. This is called a super moon, because it is at its closest orbit to the earth. There are going to be three super moons in a very short period of time this year.
