I was fascinated by the moon ... it is a different shape when not full.
Over in the UK it forms sideways crescents, but in Australia it was the bottom half that was missing.
That had never occurred to me before, although I knew the stars would be different.
As I walked through an agriculture field a couple of evenings ago, found this Black-winged Kite perched very high up on a HT cable with 13th day moon in the back ground. A bit of position adjustment resulted in this shot. Hope you like it.

I know that this is a stretch for "Landscapes" but I had to post this. This is called a super moon, because it is at its closest orbit to the earth. There are going to be three super moons in a very short period of time this year.
