    Hit the road jack....

You know the words so c'mon sing along everybody! :king: I'm currently under the weather with another case of man-flu (bit of a cold in BF gals' speak ;) ) so you'll not be seeing much of me for the mo. Although I'm now starting to wonder if my immune system isn't actually on permenant holiday! :-C

    Food, Please!

This little one (as seen in the Gallery a couple of days ago) called out as soon as I showed up. She came across. I think it wanted protection rather than food.
  14. Chelt Moorhen

    Chelt Moorhen

The Chelt (named after Cheltenham, not vice versa) is not much more than a tiny stream. But there are one or two bits to allow for flood prevention. This one, next to the huge Waitrose supermarket, is home to a breeding pair of Moorhen.

    Another Moorhen

If you get to Slimbridge before these birds have woken up, they are just too easy to photograph - like sitting ducks!
