This was the only shot of the day for me, as Jamie has alresdy said the weather was against us in Norfolk today and the birds just didn't show. I'm always amazed at the size of their feet.
Well Folks, I wont be able to spend much time on BF over the next few days, as we are off to London shortly. Hazel's youngest son gets married tomorrow, so we will be spending a few days in the capital. Dont suppose I will get a chance to fit any birding in either, much to my annoyance...
Walking along the canal toe path today, I saw this moorhen with it's head down the throat of a dead Bream, she was ripping out the guts, and feeding it to her very small chicks. It must have smelt rotten.
Mute Swan, Greylag, Canada Goose, Shelduck, Mallard, Coot, Moorhen, Herring Gull, Pigeon, Wood Pigeon, Rook, Jackdaw (and others) - all likely to be at least semi-tame and posing.
This Moorhen came running past Me yesterday quick grab shot was all i could get hope you like it any comments good or bad always welcome its the only way to improve

... for me to pass so thay can start attacking the Moorhen again. It looked as if they had already chased of its mate who was waiting a little way off.
