to Morocco last year. Its in an area of open
desert close to a town called Missour.
As soon as I saw the first flock whiz pass ,I knew
I had to paint what I saw.
I spent nearly 2 hours sitting infront of this sun, there is no better way to chill and reload the batteries for the next thing. I grow up 500 meters from this place.
This trip has been the first one on which I have felt confident enough to claim Thekla Lark, but I am quite ready for someone out there to contradict me... In Morocco Thekla and Crested Larks are supposedly both very common (and both present in this area) but none of my photos looked like...
