We had an early May sleet/snow storm and everyone was trying to stay warm. This guy was huddled on the rail near the bird feeder, and you can see the sleet falling.
Lots of these little guys along the edge of the saltmarsh this morning, not feeding, just hanging out. Some of the Ringed Eurasian variety as well, but they did not want to be photographed today.
...the "laughing" dove? It's crazy, I tell you! This dove is a pure funnybird! His jokes are always funny!
