Travelling back to Oban, we drove beside a sea loch called Loch Feochan and near the end is a little layby.
We pulled in to have a scan and found a few worthy of photographing.
Again, I've not cropped too much, as I loved he light playing on the water.
Next day we drove down through the village of Milton Combe to a little nature preserve by the river, before driving on back to Gatwick. This swan was above a small retention dam and was having trouble deciding what would be the safest and most dignified way of getting to the next pool down.
It made sustained attacks against a family of Canada Geese, particularly against the 8 goslings as they couldn't escape up the steep bank. The adult Geese made repeated attacks on the Swan in an attempt to drive off the Swan.
The Swan failed to catch a gosling whilst I was watching.
