This brood comes to our little pond for the corn I place just under the surface along its edge. We also get Wood Ducks. It's amazing how they fly through the woods without hitting a thing.
A med sized lizard, 4 - 7 in. , 10 - 16 cm., frequents forest edges, decaying logs, rocks. Spend most of day catching the rays watching for insects, grasshoppers, spiders, beetles. When suprized they dash to cover on log, rock and hide opposite side of intruders view.
