    Sunrise on Black Friday

It was 28 degrees with 50 mph wind gusts...but I got a few decent sunrise pictures so maybe it was worth the hour or so I felt like I was going to lose my fingers and nose. Maybe.
  2. Snow Bunting

Taken on Black Friday. It was 28 degrees with wind gusts of up to 50mph. What we'll do for birds!

    Prepare for takeoff

I was watching this group hang out when somebody came rushing over and unfortunately scared them off. At least I got a decent pic out of it!

    Common Yellowthroat

Man, these guys are hard to follow. They just won't stop darting around underneath brush. This was the best shot I could get.

    Buildin' a home

Every few seconds this guy would peak his head out of the hole and drop some wood shavings from his beak. He was quite the carpenter!
  24. Splash!

    Splash!

I was watching this guy walk around for quite some time hoping he would go for a fish, and fortunately enough I was able to capture this shot. In my short time as a bird watcher/photographer, this picture is one of my favorites...hope you like it too!

Just got back from the nesting materials store

I believe this is a Carolina Chickadee but honestly I can't tell them apart from the Black-Capped! Anyway, I thought this one with some hair in it's mouth was cute.
