Critically endangered. Only 500 left. We were lucky enough to encounter a flock of around 40 which settled near us and walked past unconcerned.

I went to great lengths to get to the national park Souss Massa to see birds and was lucky enough to see these extraordinary creatures. There was a cold strong wind and very difficult to keep the lens focussed.

Tamri, Morocco

3 specimens observed yesterday at airport meadow near Postojna, Slovenia. All ringed in different color combination rings, one with telemetry antena on central tail feathers.
