As its July 4th today, I am posting 3 pics from our last trip over the pond...I would like to wish all our Colonial Cousins over there a great Independence Day, have a "Good Un" y'all.

The males used to be very wary but are getting more brave and I can now be sitting on the deck and they will still come to the feeders and nearby trees, as long as I don't move too much or too quickly... lol

At Kealia Pond I asked if there were any other birding hot spots nearby that I had missed. I had one more morning that I could spend birding, so it had to be close to Wailea. They suggested a little pond at the end of a gravel road down to Makena Beach. Very near my hotel, so easy to get there...
