    Shortly after pic 2, a third bird arrived, plunge diving a short distance away, before attacking one of the original fighting pair from below.     Bass Rock

    This island is about 1 Mile out in the sea, in the Firth of Forth. The white point are mostly Northern gannets - about 80'000 birds. It's the biggest colony in the world. This Picture was taken Tantallon Castle out in the sea. The green area in the front is a barley field.
