    The helmeted guineafowl is 53 to 58 cms (21 to 23 in) with a round body and small head and weighs about 1.3 kilograms (2.9 lb). Guineafowl are particularly well-suited to consuming massive quantities of ticks, which might otherwise spread lyme disease.
