Off to Croatia very early tomorrow morning but I'm off work today so I thought I'd post a couple of pictures on Bird Forum before packing.

Had a really great long weekend at Lake Tkern. Warm and sunny and I saw lots of birds. Took a great many photographs too.

Th leaf yard at Kensington Gardens, London is always a good place to try photographing birds as people feed them and they come quite close. This nuthatch came to see what was going on.

Busy week - off to a 2-day conference in Gothenburg tomorrow morning then a second 2-day conference south of Sdertlje on Thursday. I'm taking my camera to the second one as the hotel is situated next to a lake out in the countryside.

Grubbing about in the bark of a tree and came up with this seed. Pretty much full frame.

Thank goodness December turned out to be much brighter than November. We've had a good start to January too.

Sunshine today and minimal amounts of snow on the ground. :-) The forecast looks good too.

We seem to be having an early spring this year though.
